Standard Cancellation Policy

Fare Types

Every booking is made on one of two Fare Types, chosen at checkout and shown in your booking confirmation:

  • Standard Fare
The cancellation policy of your fast boat/ferry company as set out below applies.
  • CFAR Fare
For a supplement of 10% of the price of your tickets, your booking is fully refundable (excluding the supplement) if you cancel at least 24 hours before the first scheduled departure, as set out in the CFAR Terms and Conditions. CFAR is a fare option provided by Island Bookings B.V. It is not insurance and does not replace travel insurance.

How to Cancel

  • Standard Fare
Notify the ferry company by email, copying [email protected], so we can process your refund, if applicable. All necessary contact information is detailed on your e-ticket and/or in the email confirmation sent to you at the time of booking.
  • CFAR Fare
Email [email protected] only, with your booking reference. We will cancel with the boat company for you.

General Conditions (All Boat Companies)

  • All refunds, once approved by the fast boat/ferry operator or other service provider, will be paid directly from StMartinbookings.com, less any admin fees and/or charges applied to make the refund.
  • Where applicable, this cancellation policy overrides any of the ferry companies’ individual cancellation policies and all refunds will be made by StMartinbookings.com.
  • Should you fail to show up for a booked ferry service, accommodation booking, or any other booking with other service providers, you will be considered a 'No-Show'. In such cases, where no prior notification to cancel (in accordance with the below cancellation policies) has been given to the service provider, No-Shows will be considered as cancellations for all service providers.
  • If you change a booking date or time while it is within the non-refundable period at the time of the amendment, any subsequent cancellation will charge the full ticket price, regardless of how far in advance the new departure date is scheduled. For CFAR bookings, the non-refundable period is the 24 hours before departure.
  • If you are arriving or departing St Maarten on a cruise ship, no refunds will be given for cancellations due to the late arrival / early departure of your ship.

Fast Boat/Ferry Company Specific Cancellation Policies:

The general conditions above apply to all fast boat/ferry bookings. However, cancellation and refund terms vary by fast boat/ferry company. If you booked the Standard Fare, please refer to the relevant fast boat/ferry company below for the specific cancellation policy that applies to your booking. If you booked the CFAR Fare, the CFAR Terms and Conditions apply instead until your first service starts.
